Who we are

Nortada Travels is a small-group travel company run by Diana and João, based in Esposende, Portugal. This page covers the pre-launch waitlist at nortadatravels.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we ask for your name and email address. You can also tell us, if you want to, how you're travelling, how many of you there are, and which month you'd prefer. Those extra details are optional and only exist so we can write to you about the trip that actually fits you.

What we use it for

One thing: telling you about the first Nortada departures before they're announced anywhere else, and giving you first pick of the places. We rely on your consent to do this, which you give by submitting the form and can take back at any time.

We don't sell your details, rent them, trade them, or hand them to anyone else for their marketing. Ever.

Where it lives

Your details are stored in the mailing-list service we use to send the waitlist emails, and nowhere else. Access is limited to the two of us.

How long we keep it

Until the launch emails have gone out, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. Ask and it's gone, no questions and no 30-day processing theatre.

Cookies and tracking

Nothing is set unless you agree to it. The page asks first, and if you decline, no advertising or analytics cookies are loaded at all.

If you accept, we use the Meta (Facebook) pixel. It tells us which of our ads brought you here, so we don't waste money showing them to people they're not for. It sets a cookie in your browser and sends Meta your IP address and the pages you viewed on this site. Meta is in the United States, and their own privacy policy covers what they do with it.

You can change your mind whenever you like: "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. Declining costs you nothing, and the site works exactly the same.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Under EU data-protection law (GDPR) these are your rights; to us it's just answering an email. If you feel we've handled your data badly, you can also complain to the CNPD, the Portuguese data-protection authority.
